AI automation

AI automation that acts on your workspace

AI automation in Team Brain runs compiled agents on your own docs and databases, triggered by schedules, webhooks, inbound email, or row changes. Reliable runs, your own model keys, and no per-seat pricing.

What is AI automation?

AI automation is using AI agents to do recurring work on your data without a person running each step. Here is how it works in Team Brain.

How it worksWhat Team Brain does
Compiled agentsAgents run as sandboxed code, not an open chat loop, so the same input gives the same result without hallucinating.
TriggersStart an agent manually, on a schedule, from a webhook, on an inbound email, or when a database row changes.
Acts on your dataAgents read and write the same docs and databases your team uses, scoped to your workspace.
Bring your own model keysUse your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google keys, or pay per use.
Skills and MCP toolsReusable skills and Model Context Protocol tools let agents reach outside systems.
PricingUnlimited collaborators, no per-seat pricing; pay for model usage.

AI automation FAQ

What is AI automation?
AI automation is using AI agents to do recurring work on your data without a person running each step. In Team Brain, AI automation means compiled agents that run on triggers, such as a schedule, a webhook, an inbound email, or a database row change, and act directly on your workspace.
How does AI automation work in Team Brain?
You describe an agent, Team Brain compiles it to sandboxed code, and you attach a trigger. When the trigger fires, the agent runs against your docs and databases and writes results back. Because the agent is compiled code rather than an open chat loop, runs are repeatable and do not hallucinate steps.
Is AI automation reliable, or do the agents hallucinate?
Team Brain agents are compiled to code and run in a sandbox, so the same input produces the same output. The model is used when you ask for reasoning, not to invent the control flow, which makes automation far more reliable than a free-form chatbot.
How is this different from Zapier or no-code automation?
Zapier wires fixed steps between apps. Team Brain automation runs AI agents that read and act on the same workspace where your docs and databases already live, so there is no separate integration layer to sync, and agents can reason over your data, not just move it.
Can AI automation use my own API keys?
Yes. You can bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google keys, or pay per use. Usage is scoped to your workspace.
