Daily digest of what matters

Have our Slack bot post a daily digest: deals closed, open tasks, new contacts.

The problem

The state of the business is scattered: deals in one database, tasks in another, new contacts in a third. To brief the team someone opens all three every morning and stitches a summary together, or skips it and everyone works off a stale picture.

How the agent does it

Every morning the agent reads those databases: which deals moved to closed, which tasks are still open and overdue, which contacts were added since yesterday. It writes a short digest from that and posts it to your Slack channel, so the team starts the day with the numbers and nobody had to assemble them.

Setup

  1. In Settings, connect Slack with a bot token and pick the channel to post in.
  2. Tell the agent which databases to read: Deals, Tasks, and Contacts.
  3. Set it up to summarize deals closed, open and overdue tasks, and new contacts each morning, then post the result to the channel.
  4. Set the trigger to a daily schedule at the time you want.
  5. Run it once to preview the message, then turn it on.
